DYNASTY
Dynasty was created in May 2006 in Dallas, Texas by two young ladies who possess a passion for music. Krystal, 19 and Ashley Stepney, 15 are sisters and have been singing all of their lives together, coming from a heritage of gospel singers . Dy-nas-ty is an upcoming duo group and are currently in the process of recording their first CD. Through prayer and God given talent they have been led to begin a career in music. Krystal Stepney, the lead soprano vocalist, is also a songwriter who has a gift for arranging lyrics. Ashley Stepney, the second soprano vocalist is also a songwriter. Both of them are very creative with musical beats and have a love for all types of music. Dy-Nas-Ty's goal is to create a unique genre of music utilizing concepts from Contemporary Gospel with a Neo Soul feel, that would appeal to a younger generation of people. Although, Dy‑Nas-Ty is still in the developmental stages of their career, they are dedicated towards perfecting their skills in music. Philipians 4:13 states: I can do all thing through Christ that strengthens me. And by that faith statement we believe that one day Dy-Nas-Ty will be one of the top duo groups and the Lord will lead them to be known all over the world not just for their talent but because they represent the Light of Jesus Christ
